ERT Formula E Team is the evolution of Team China Racing that carried Nelson Piquet Jr. to claim the inaugural drivers’ championship title in 2015. Dan Ticktum and Sergio Sette Camara remain with the team after an impressive campaign in Season 9 that

After winning the title, Nelson Piquet Jn. remained with the team for three seasons, partnered by Oliver Turvey for a second straight campaign. For the 2017/18 season, Italian IndyCar driver Luca Filippi replaced Nelson Piquet Jn, to partner Turvey for the team's fourth season.

The team has had mixed success in the championship, finishing a respectable fourth overall in the 2014/15 season before falling to last place in the championship standings the following year.

For the 2016/17 season, the team managed to pull itself back up to sixth before falling back down to eighth at the end of the 2017/18 season.

For the 2018/19 campaign, Oliver Turvey remains with the team alongside Frenchman Tom Dillmann. Together, they piloted the striking green and white GEN2 challenger.

A new season brings a new name, as the Chinese team evolves into the NIO 333 Formula E Team. For 2019/20, Oliver Turvey continues with the team and is joined by Ma Qinghua. With Ma unable to complete the season, Daniel Abt was drafted in as his replacement.

Tom Blomqvist joined experienced Formula E campaigner and NIO loyalist Oliver Turvey at the squad for 2020/21, while restructuring in the backroom of the team took place to set things up for its long-term commitment to Gen3 and the future of the championship. It was a season of two halves.

Four top ten finishes in the opening four rounds, and another in Valencia set things off nicely, though a mid-season blank amid an increasingly competitive grid saw the British-based outfit find further points hard to come by - Blomqvist's 10th in the finale was the squad's only other score.

There were less points on the board for Season 8, but the team put in some heroic performances, especially in Rome with a double top 10 finish for Turvey and new recruit Dan Ticktum.

GEN3 provided a fresh new start for the entire grid and in the hands of Ticktum and new recruit Sergio Sette Camara, the pair delivered the Silverstone-based squad's best season in recent years. Ending up ninth in the Teams' standings with nine points scoring finishes.

Heading into the landmark 10th season of Formula E and with a fresh new look and a new name, racing under the banner of ERT Formula E Team, Ticktum and Sette Camara will be looking to continue that march towards the front in Season 10.

Sergio Sette Camara steps across to NIO 333 for Season 9, looking to marry his blistering one-lap pace with more consistency as the team-driver pairing aim for positive progress towards success in Gen3.

Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Sergio Sette Camara rose through the karting ranks in his home country before stepping up to race in Formula 3, first in Brazil before making the journey across the Atlantic to race in Europe in 2014.

Sette Camara is no stranger to the trials of city street circuits. The Brazilian driver made his debut at the gruelling Macau Grand Prix in 2015, his first attempt saw him finish down in 22nd, but demonstrated his potential by smashing the lap record by an impressive 1.5 seconds. From his next two appearances, his best finish was third in 2016.

2016 also saw Sette Camara join the ranks of the Red Bull Junior Team, as the Brazilian driver continued to flourish in his ascension up the single-seater racing ladder as he climbed up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship.

In his rookie season in Formula 2, Sette Camara ended 2017 in 12th and scored his first win alongside two podiums. The following year he continued his improvement with eight podium finishes on the way to sixth in the standings.

Sette Camara's best overall finish in F2 came in 2019, where the Brazilian claimed two wins, three poles and eight podiums to end the season in fourth. He combined his efforts in the junior Formula category with a role as McLaren's F1 test and development driver.

For 2020, he made appearances across the single-seater spectrum; racing in Japan in Super Formula, acting as the test driver for Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri and making his debut in Formula E for Dragon in the 2020 Berlin season-finale.

Before his drive in the six-race finale in the 2019/20 season, Sette Camara represented Dragon in the 2020 Marrakesh Rookie Test, ending the session with the second-fastest time.

Following his graduation to a race seat for the Berlin season-finale, Sette Camara was rewarded with a full-time drive with Dragon, where he stayed for the next two seasons. With a best of fourth from two campaigns with the American outfit, Sette Camara's one-lap pace was noted by the whole paddock with the field honouring him as the most underrated driver.

Sette Camara's blazing speed has been picked up by NIO 333 for Season 9, as the former winning squad are charting a route back to the top step in the Gen3 era.

Starting a new chapter in Formula E last season, Dan Ticktum heads towards his second campaign in the all-electric street racing series with another run around the world with NIO 333.

Dan Ticktum had a promising junior career and finished second to Lando Norris in the 2013 CIK-FIA European karting championship, tied on points with the McLaren F1 driver.

Showcasing some impressive street racing credentials around the infamous blacktop that makes up the Macau Grand Prix, Ticktum won the event two years in a row in 2017 and 2018, beating Lando Norris and Callum Illot respectively. The Brit added  his name to a short list of drivers to who have multiple times in Macau - a list that also features current Formula E winners Antonio Felix da Costa and Edoardo Mortara.

There was further success in the 2018 FIA Formula E European Championship, as Ticktum finished runner-up to Mick Schumacher.

Two seasons in the FIA Formula 2 Championship followed, a victory at home in Silverstone came in his rookie season with his best run in 2021 when the young Brit finished fourth in the standings - picking up three victories, including around the famous streets of Monaco.

All-electric racing beckoned for Ticktum for the 2021/22 season as the Brit joined the NIO 333 team. In a baptism of fire, he pulled off some highlight performances with scoring his first point in Rome, impressing in qualifying in Monaco and reaching the Duels in the final race in Seoul.

Ticktum continues with NIO for Season 9 and the all-new Gen3 era, looking to build on his learnings as he heads towards his sophomore campaign in Formula E.
